Nice shots! I think I like #3 the best... its very clean looking but there is a silhouette in the bottom right corner to give things a little perspective.
This is my 3rd July 4th in a row that I'm working so no photos of fireworks from me in a long time :(

I didnt have much luck with the fireworks last night... I have a few shots but i havent uploaded/edited them yet.

thanks guys. the fireworks were all set off from a barge out on 9th street so we got a good view form the beach. these were all shot manual around f8-f11 and anywhere from 1 sec to 45 secs at iso 100. on the longer ones i held a plate up in front of the lens to block the light and then just moved it as i saw one about to burst so i could get more fireworks into the one shot. on the shorter ones i just used my remote shutter release and opened and closed it when i thought it would look cool. i took only about 70 pics and edited 20 so far so its not too bad. it was good cuz it looked like it was gonna rain the whole time and then about 5 minutes after the finale it started to drizzle as we walked back to our house from the beach and then poured the rest of the night so we lucked out.

I have no pics but some video..I was lighting them anyway so it's kind f difficult to take pics..We had two 6 inch professional mortars this year that were absolutely amazing but the mem card was full on the camera right before we lit those :(

that could be me you see driving. i'm living in oc for the summer but usually just keep my car in the garage aside from driving to work and rarely around town

It's great, huh? I just have to run Image Processor through CS2 or 3 and have 'em converted to JPG. No biggie I guess :)

The shots I took were in Lancaster County. G/f and I were heading back from Sonic Sat night and just saw them in the distance. Got fairly close and setup the tripod and the 70-300 VR at about 280mm. Problem is, I HAD the VR on too... so we'll see how that worked out :-\

Basically just driving along in Lancaster County and saw these.. so we pulled over and watched / took some photos. They were shot from the other side of a ridge, so I had that ridge and houses and such in the way. Nikon D70s, 70-300 VR on a tripod with VR on (I forgot to turn it off lol). Nothing too nice:
