Timing is off - i hope ???

Hey guys im running a 92 KA24DE, and i think that my timing is off - praying ! lol - i guessing thats the prob because when i try to turn the car on my timing chain is just spinning and is not insync with the rest of the motor, but when i turn off the ignition, the car trys to fire. anyone think that my guess is correct?????

well this is why i was against the idea of buying a already internally modded car in the first place. Its could be as easy as twisting the distributer a little but it sounds like its worse then that....

check the crank shaft timing allignment with top dead center and go from there.

The easiest way I know of is to turn the engine to top dead center and then align the cams from there to the stock setting and then twist the dizzy to advance or retard the timing.
