Meeting spot

Hey Everyone,
I thought I would let everyone on here now that there is a meeting spot in Huntington Valley in the superfresh parking lot(near where the old Regal 14 was, which is now a LA fitness)

Its the meeting spot for a local car club but its turned into a meeting spot.

They meet at 730 on sunday nights. Usually I hang there then most of the people there cruise down to Franklin Mills and hang out down there.

Let me kno if any on you guys are going to check it out

So you might know Heavy D (old school Golf) or Messa ( White Jetta w/ Corbeau Seats, cif splitter and such. And if you happened to drive by Southampton Motor Cars today and saw the Black evo witht he kid drooling over it that was me. They called me as soon as they got it and he thought it was an 04 With 40k miles so papa dukes told me he wanted like 20k for it so i was thinking about it. Got a ride in it found out it only had 8,500 miles and he wanted 24850 :(...i guess ill go find a GTI

I went once, but felt kinda out of place there...Didn't know anybody, and nobody really came over or wanted to talk, so i just left! lol

Not to bring back a week-old post unnecessarily... also, if I'm not really late and have missed something, check out Schimmel Performance for VW stuff, he's right in Warminster. I was up there today checking out a Jetta he has for sale and his shop is really nice. Has a 911 Turbo taken apart with the drivetrain just sitting there. :eek:

but I've been to one or two of these meets in Huntingdon Valley, I'm friends with one of the VW kids and usually there's a decent turn out. Everyone's pretty friendly. Sometimes the cops roll in and watch to make sure no one gets stupid, but it's usually pretty cool.

I have to agree, its pretty damn gay there. People act like there cars are hot **** and its like white thug suburban life over there. Never brought my car there though, was never anything worth racing... The only semi-fast car there is this dude with a black vr6 ?? i think.. Prolly like a high 13 sec car, but it beats the rest of the slow **** there... Vicious Visions is just a bunch of ricers, that **** is what ruined our spot in the NE, ricers comming there and doing burnouts and **** and ruining it for the rest of us, who are actually there looking to race.

Yeah, lots of the people there are pretty lame, I think last time my highlight was a mechanically stock Cavalier with vinyl, a body kit, and "lambo" doors. Sweet.

Some of the VW's aren't as slow, and the kids are cooler. I know a kid with a mkii VR6 (black, maybe the one you're thinking of) that's fairly quick. I think mid 13's.
