Well some idiot over at subaru put a coathanger where a swaybar is suppossed to go on my car. So i took that old rusted 13mm piece of poo out in favor of a 17mm almost new WRX sway bar. (the mike's) This plus the new RS suspension I put in yesterday has given me a suprisingly stiffer ride. Its almost to stiff on the crappy phila roads, but it sure is fun for spirited driving :supz:
Heres how you do:
First: Either raise the front of the car or put it on ramps as seen in the pic. This will relieve all stress that is on the rear swaybar.

Second: Use your slight mechanics skill and unbolt the bolts that hold in the bar. I dont have pics because if you cant find these you shouldnt be doing this.
Third: Lay the bars next to eachother and think "why the hell didnt this come stock?"

Fourth: Take the bushings in this pics and either drill them out to be wider....or, cut slices in them so the new bar will fit better. (you can also buy new ones that fit right but im cheap and broke .)

Fifth: Put everything back on and bolt it up.
This is how it should look. The sway bar should be bolted on the inside of the endlinks, not the outside.

For those of you that are observant.....that is the new RS bumper that is waiting to go on my car....all i need it a bumper beam
