I'm spreading the word for my dad, heres the email he sent me... sad story about the kid.

Hello everyone,
Hope all is well with all of you. As most of you know I am an avid fisherman and President of the Marsh Creek Bass Club. One of our junior members has fallen into some bad times. His name is Ron Phillips . Ronnie is 13 years old, a member of the Tri-County Junior Bassmasters and Marsh Creek Bass Club here in S.E.Pennsylvania. Ronnie has been in A.I. Dupont Hospital in Wilmington Delaware since February after being severely injured during a backyard football game. His liver was lacerated which required a liver transplant at which time they discovered he has Leukemia, and although he has had several setbacks along the way, progress has been made in his long road to recovery.
We are trying to help Ron and his family out by having several fundraisers. He has been in an intensive care unit since February 2008 and his expenses are mounting. We need your help, to help this young man in the fight of his young life. I am sending this message out in order to help spread the word. We have set up a web site. www.marshcreekbassclub.com/rpbt Please visit the site and join in on the energy to help Ron Phillips and his family. Just to let you know some of the stuff that are in progress along with the site, there are several entities stepping up to join in: Bass Pro Shops, Cabellas, Jack Daniels, NASCAR, Toyota, BASS ESPN the list goes on, just to give you an idea of what I mean by energy. Whatever you can do help, no matter what or how much, will be appreciated. Spread the word!
Thank you & God Bless
Keeping it Positive >)))>

Wow that sounds like fun. It's a shame I don't really fish.

They got some big names to help with donations. Best of luck.

Let me at the fool who hit that poor kid so hard in a back yard football game to cause liver damage. Dope. I bet he feels back now. Im unsure if Leukemia can contribute to easier liver lesions/damage if hit but Im gona find out.
//Donation pending.
Cheers JP.

This is sad and I wish I could make some type of donation but I am flat out broke. I knew a kid at my school who was 14 years old and died from Leukemia. He had a dream to become a big football player, but while he was playing football he was hit pretty hard and was knocked unconscious. He was rushed to the hospital, and that is when they found out he had Leukemia. This story is similar to his, and I wish the best to Ronnie and his family.
