Alright guys there was some intrest in a group buy so here we go. Im going to start a group buy right now and ending on the 25th of June. This way anyone who wants attend the Grand opening on the 29th will be able to pick there lights up in person and see the shop. http://www.tristatetuners.com/forum/showthread.php?t=56081
You will not find a better HID for less espically if we can get the order # up. So lets go guys and get some names on the list.
We have H.I.D. kits for any car/bike/truck. They come in a bunch of different temperatures. Currently only have 6000k instock, but can get the rest in.
FITMENTS: H1, H3, H4, H7, H8, H9, H10, H11, H133, 880, 881, 9004, 9005, 9006, 9007, D2C, D2R, D2S, H4 H/L, H4BI, 9004 H/L, 9004BI, 9007 H/L, 9007BI, H13 H/L, H13BI
TEMPERATURES: 3000K, 4300K, 5000K, 6000K, 8000K, 10000K, 12000K, 20000K, 25000K, 30000K
http://64.40.159.224/ebay/Xentec/HIDcolortemps.jpg
As far as temps go...
3000K is yellow, popular in fogs
4300K is OEM and is super white, has the most light output
5000K is also a nice white color with a very slight blue hint
6000K is slightly blue, its a popular choice and still looks pretty classy
8000K is very blue, looks obviously aftermarket
12000K is purple, if thats what you're going for
the reason that high end cars have HIDs that look blue/purple sometimes isnt because they have blue/purple bulbs in them, its because of the design of the headlamps themselves... the optics of different projector headlights diffract light and look slightly blue/purple sometimes as a result.
Prices are as follows.
1-4 $120
5-9 $110
10-14 $105
15+ $100 <--- At this mark as of 6/17 3:45PM
Shipping: +$10.
Slim Digital Ballast: +$50
High/Low Beam Bulbs: +$20
For payment we accept paypal, CCs over the phone, and of course cash. Also make sure you tell us your name, tst name, temp and what bulb!
Paypal: KrazyHouseCustoms@GMail.com
PM me for any questions or concerns!!!!!!!!! Rich
Kits only come with matching bulbs.

FOR THOSE LOOKING TO GET HIDS IN YOUR MOTORCYCLES
and your bike takes two different style bulbs (ie H7 Low beam & H9 Hi beam), we can not get one kit with two different bulbs. Low Beam HIDs are more than enough IMO, but if you want both find someone else who is getting the same thing and one person order a kit with the HIs and the other order the LOWs.

Yes they do come with ballasts, if you would like you can get the digital ballasts instead for an additional charge. The digital ballasts are a lot smaller. (in picture on page 1)

i knew that
lownslow95
06-14-2008, 01:35 PM
HaHa sure you did...j/p . They are usually just a plug-n-play style, meaning that you take your old one out, plug the balast in to one side, plug the hid itself and your set. My set sucked because when I got mine, they were missing the one wire leading from the hid to the balast, so I had to rig it up, but hey, it works and thats all that matters. I have the 6K 9007 and I couldn't be happier.

Hey Krazy House- I have an 87 Buick Regal Turbo T and I asked this question over on turbobuicks.com. They are selling kits over there but I prefer to give you my business since your local, and a new vendor on here, and 4drstunner is a good friend of mine and recomended you guys for the HIDs.
Anyways, are your kits similar to the response I got below from turbobuick.com? Do you have pics?
"Ok here my question....
How does the HID kit plug into the factory harness. Is it just tapped into for power, or does the stock headlight harness have to physically plug into the ballast or something? Please advise.
Answer:
There is just one little spade terminal that you slip into the 3-prong factory connector that normally plugs in to the back of the standard headlight. It is simply there to tell the HID kit when your headlights are powered on."

Not sure on what bulb you have but I just looked at it for an h7 and it does have the spades, they draw power from the stock harness (only 35w compared to your 55/65w stock bulbs) so when you turn your headlights on from inside the car the power goes into it as if it was a stock bulb and tells the ballasts to power up the HID.
All of the kits do plug in, there is no wiring, soldering, etc.. involved.

Installed the lights last night and they look great!!
The only problem I had with them was that the lights where wired up backwards (Hi/Lo) for some reason. Easy fix though, all I had to do was switch the positive wires from the stock harness. Lights fit great and the product looks like quality pieces. I was very suprised that there isn't that much glare after I realigned the housings. Alot less then what the regular H4 bulbs put out. The HID's definetly cut through the dark.
Dealt with Jay over at the shop. Thanks man.
Hey I was wondering how much for replacement bulbs? I think I want to try out a different temp bulbs in the near future.

can you elaborate on this a little more? i kinda took a look at the harness and thought there were too many wires at first, but thought it will kinda work out in the end. Direction booklet kinda doesnt help explain in too much detail. So anyways, you had the high beams on when your switch was set to low beam? wtf?

When I first plugged them in and turned on the headlights it was very yellow. I flipped the switch to high beams and the headlights turned more ice blue then a second later turned super bright (HID warm up).
All the wires were there that I needed to plug them in.

Anyone who has gotten them shipped, have yoyu gotten your kits yet? I live in PA and I would think that something shipped from there would've gotten here by now. I sent something through the USPS and the guy got it 2-3 days later and they lived in NJ too. Can I get a tracking number or something? If I dont get it soon I might consider taking up a claim with paypal.

Couldnt get in contact and I've PMed them. It's just that when I order something from frsport.com on a Monday, and it gets to me on a Thursday via standard FedEx ground(they're in California and I'm in PA) I would think this kit would've gotten here by now......and with Friday being the 4th I'm looking at it not getting to me by Saturday or Monday.....kinda rediculous if you ask me.

Just a thought but i thought id try. Theres no chance i could return my hi/low bulbs for a just low set and my extra $20 could i? Im kinda upset at the fact i put out the extra $20 for high beams that mind as well be corner lamp bulbs. I mean i know you guys told me i "would never use them, the low beams are bright enough" but by that i thought the high beams were even brighter. I thought it would be a good idea to have High beams for two reasons i needed to pass inspection and second i drive through the sticks every night so when im on the dark back roads through the night i like to have everything lit up just incase a deer comes out from the darkness. Well these high beams are weaker then my last set of normal halogen bulbs, and I will not ever use them. I have less then 3hrs on the bulbs, if that makes any difference. Call me on my cell if you'd like, ill be in NJ paying my fine today and so id be able to swing by the shop if need be.

im not down talking the kits, in all reality the HID LOW BEAMS are the ****! the kits are EXTREMELY nice from all the other ones ive seen in this price range. Just anyone who has to run low and high beam in one bulb i would suggest just the low beam kit. Trust me there really nice low beams and its a deal for the price you get the kit for. The digital ballast are nice also. FOR THE PRICE YOU CANNOT BEAT THE QUALITY.

Still waiting. Not trying to be rude but if they werent in stock I shouldnt need to call, I should be informed the item was out of stock and I'd have to wait a few days. Every other site or buisness I've ordered from does that. Although hearing some of the stories of people's experience, bad high beams, extra wires, e.t.c., I'm starting to consider cancelling my order.

i seen those hids in person. yeah low beam looks good, but high sucks ass, my parking lights are brighter then that, how can you even sell that crap
should have went with something like this
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/BI-XENON-SLIM-HID-KIT-H4-H13-9004-9007-H-L-BIXENON-New_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQcategoryZ36476QQihZ004QQitem Z140246628312QQrdZ1QQsspagenameZWDVW
they have HID high beam(solenoid that moves bulb back and forth, yes still not as good of a design but at least its not joke halogen high beam bulb that dont do crap
u should have went with oem for more light, got d2s or d2r bulbs, casper shield for h4 type bulb and just gotten some pepboys high beam lights
i asume this is kinda kit you had in there. this s like having HID low beam and city/running light. oh thats a good idea, you can use as city light, you know some cars have those bulbs that light up headlight but not bright enough to light up the road? thats same thing with those http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/H4-9003-HB2-XENON-6000K-HID-CONVERSION-KIT-HONDA-CIVIC_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQcategoryZ36476QQihZ012QQit emZ220252588033QQrdZ1QQsspagenameZWDVW

Yes the low beams (hid) are awesome in the Hi/Lo kit. The high beams (holagen) could be better.
The kit that has both low and high hid are the Bi-xenon kits.

Well, UPS e-mail said I was supposed to get it today. Tracking said it has only gotten the billing, receiving address. If this is going to be the norm for KHC then I'm not gonna do buisness with them.

I deal with UPS daily. It sounds like they lost the package, it never shipped, or it was never scanned going onto the truck. If it's past the expected arrival date for the kits, you need to have the shipper contact UPS with their tracking #('s) and issue a UPS Trace.

i got my kit almost two weeks ago, love it. the exact color output i was looking for, thanks guys! great dealing with them on the phone too.
Gorilla unit, every kit isnt perfect, also keep in mind that they didnt make the kits. So deal with it personally between them, I'm sure theyre busy and will help you once their attention has turned to you. If you havent already, just call the shop, pm'ing and waiting on tristate is only gonna get you so far.
