AC isn't getting cold at all. Is that normal for a car thats only a year and a half old?

not normal, go to the dealership or any shop and get it checked, you could've got a leak or something else going on

I work at the dealer, It is under warranty. Take it to a dealer asap. For 4 years 50k miles everything is covered except wear and tear parts, i.e. breaks, tires, rotors.

I don't think I got the cold A/C option with my car, either. It's always blown cool and not cold. :roll:

we've been seeing a lot of a/c problems recently. 07 rabbit, thats a 2.5L, the high pressure sensure sometimes leaks, the ambient air temp sensor has been screwing up, i think there are a few other problems but i hardly ever get a/c complaints, im mostly MIL's/electrical problems at my dealership.

I have had a headlight and both tail lights go out on me too..I may have the dealer scan over the whole car for problems.

im assuming its still under warranty, it should be free, even if it is out of warranty, i would still do it for free if you brought it to me, its just good customer service.

It is under warranty but they arent gonna just check out the whole car for nothing! It is good customer service but I don't own the dealership :wink:

but its going to scan the whole car regardless, once you start guided **** finding for the a/c complaint, its going to scan the entire car. if he complains of other electrical issues then the tech has to report anything related to the other problems. thats about as far as i would go, im not saying im goin over the entire car with a magnifying glass or nothing but code checking it is no big deal.

We deal with them all the time. If you have any mods done to your rabbit, my dealership wont give you any crap tho.......
