New guy, Blown Dakota R/T

Hey everyone, new guy checking in. Got a link from a wrinkleboi on the ClubWRX forums. Figured I'd come over and check it out. I live in South Jersey, work in Philly. My truck is in my sig, '02 Dodge Dakota 5.9 R/T, blower, heads, boltons. Getting a few upgrades soon, new shortblock, very mild cam, bigger tb, minor headwork. Can't wait to have her on the road again, should be tearin' it up again in a few weeks.

Thanks. I've been running 28x12.50 ET Streets. This year I have a full set of Bogarts w/ 28x13.50 Hoosiers waiting to go :) I can't wait to run 'em. I can't wait to hit up Atco again, I live about 15 mins away from Atco, gonna try to get out at least a couple times a month, if not more.

Is that an air-to-water intercooler on there? Looks like the plumbing ran to the intercooler under the bed...?
Either way that is a healthy setup for a 360.

Yup, air/water, water tank in the bed, pump and setrab under the bed.

Sadly enough, the resale on R/T's is really poor right now, I'm seeing a lot of them go for $7-9K in great shape. You can get one moving pretty good for not a lot of $$$ with some juice and boltons, and still haul furniture for all of your friends ;)

Trust me if i can find the r/t 5.9 in blue with a manual tranny for a decent price ill be right with ya...thats the truck of my dreams

Thanks :D They only made intense blue for 98 & 99 I believe, but you won't find one with a manual. R/T's only came in automatic. But there are five and six speed conversions available, if you have an extra $4K laying around :P

Hey, how's it going man? I should have her back on the road next week. Pick up my heads on Saturday, start putting it back together on Monday, break it all in, then the blower goes back on. So probably a few weeks before I'm ready to run again. Got a few lil things going in, new .020 over block, mild cam, three angle vj and bowl work on the heads and a 58mm tb. Gonna see how it runs, then probably up my stall, somewhere around 3500 should do the trick :D We'll definitely have to hook up when she's ready. Ordering some M&H DR's too, no more complaining about street tires LOL

cool. got my vortech s-trim setup going on sunday, with 42lbs injectors, 80mm m/a, and 70mm t/b, plus 2 new fuel pumps. should be a good run.
i doubt the AOD is gonna hold up, so im looking at some c-4's now

Right on, can't wait to see it. Did you replace the tranny since last I talked to you? Or are you still on the same one you were having problems with?
