if you had to pick one which one would you pick and why?

OK i am heavily looking for a new bike. I got a Kawi card in the mail lastnight and i have no clue why or how? i didn't apply (yet) being that i was going to buy my zx12! so i have no clue how it came already and i didn't buy the zx12!

anyhow i am looking at the following bikes

04 and up R1
04 and up ZX10
and 04 and up CBR1000

Now being that i already own a yamaha i am kind of on the fence with the R1. I even have a yamaha hat ;) But i am still not sure yet. I got to ride a modified ZX10 a stock zx6 and a zx6 with an exhaust. I have not seen or taken a ride on the R1 nor the CBR1000.
So i don't know which one i would be happy with! let me get some input on what you guys think please!

If you want something that actually has some character... RC51. Its unlike ANYTHING else on the road, is a litre bike, and is a v-twin. RC51 will be my next bike. :)

Of the choices you gave, Id go for the CBR. Then the Yami. And I'd avoid kawi like the plague. Ive owned 3 kawi's, done all maintence on them, and all 3 have blown up at one point or another. Kawasaki craftsmanship = ****ty.

not to much a fan of the rc51 its not that comfy for me. If i was to put an order to it i would pick r1 crb then zx. but it because i have been around yamaha for 18 years and i know a lot about them. i don't know if i would jump into something totally brand new to me. for some reason my heart is set on R1 cbr is a close second

me too! its a proven excellent bike with arguably the best steering damper out there and since the 08 is a tottaly fresh design there are some rather aggressive deals going for them. if i hadnt found my 954 when i did i likely would have snapped up an 07'

I might be a lil bias! hahahaha But theres a reason for that. Ive owned two cbr's over the last 4 to 5 years and both were great bikes. Never had a problem with either.

amazing no one is or has voted for the ZX10 is it really that bad of a bike? Right now i am looking at a SICK 05 r1 with 4771 miles on it as we speak! its SO nice i am waiting for the loan to finalize

I'ld be all over the R1. The raven color scheme, alongside having ridden one, it's an insane bike...but at that level, it's almost saying "do you want yamaha, honda, or kawi" since they're practically identical.

only reason why i dont want one of the gsx-r is because everyone as one here and they get stolen A LOT! and all of my buddies have zx6 or zx10s so i figure i stay with R1 since i have been around mine for so long i am not going to go away from it :)

i've ridden all three, i'd reccomend the r1, its got great power through all gears, looks are great, and if more comfy that the cbr or zx-10 in my opinoin.

iv never riden a liter bike but iv rident he 636 r6 and the cbr 600 and i like the r6 the most. and also yamaha has the nicest looking bike. Im geting a r6 next

I've owned Honda, Yami, and Kawi litre biles, and the Honda's were by favorites. They feel more planted imo, and put together more solid. Of the 2 R1's that I had, one was an 01, and the other the redesigned 04. I liked the 01 allot more. My top pick was my 929. I'm looking for a Ducati 996 now because I've never had a twin and I love the sound.

Kawi are having ALOT of problems. Gsxr's are me 2 bikes!(Hey I got a gixxer, hey me 2). I agree with your choices as far as the r1 and the cbr. Imo the best two liter bikes that are out.

yeah man i am really leaning on the r1 i am still waiting on the bank its kicking my butt i don't want the dude to sell it on me and then i have to start my hunt all over again! i can't find a cbr 1000 that i like so if you know of any let me know :D

R1 is one of the best looking IMO and i love the undertail exhaust. Plus I'm a fan of yamaha.
