this is awesome news, the best game you never played just got a sequel! best part is it will be on both 360 and PS3

One of the most critically acclaimed and widely appreciated games of the last generation was Beyond Good & Evil, an action/adventure game with platforming elements that captivated many a gamer. It didn't sell particularly well, but thanks to fantastic word of mouth, it has become a bona fide cult classic.
Ever since, fans have been yearning for a sequel. Well, it's a little late in coming, but at the very least, we know it's in production: thanks to Ubisoft's Ubidays 2008 press event, we now know that Beyond Good & Evil 2 will soon become a reality in this new generation! They've released a teaser video for it, and although it doesn't show much, it's a start. We only have the bare-bones info for now - in that the game is indeed real - so we'll be on the lookout for any new details in the coming months. Perhaps this will drop in time for the holidays, which would make fans of the original very happy. We have other questions, but we'll just bite our tongue for now and bask in this good news for a while.
By the way, if you're wondering, we're not sure if Jade will make a return as the main character. She was great in the original title and it might make sense to bring her back, but you never know...
