Hey guys. Selling my dad's black w/ red leather 1993 Miata Limited Edition. He's the second owner and it's only got 82,440 miles. Never been in an accident. This has a removable hard top that's in awesome condition, spoiler, and BBS rims. We're asking $5500, but we'd take $5000. Its got a few little dings and there's some wear on the driver seat, but its easily fixable. I've looked it up and this car is really, really hard to find because they didn't make very many at all. PM me if you're interested. The car is in Downingtown.

Thanks, man. Yeah, I priced it low to sell quick because he's giving me what he gets from it to go toward my wedding, which I desperately need. Whoever ends up getting it will have gotten a really good deal.

Haha, every car should come with a Party Cat. Apparently, they're becoming extinct from over-partying and liver damage. LOL

I really wish I had cash for this, its a great example of a miata. Finding an NA body with under 100k miles is tough, especially for that price, especially considering the limited edition and color combo and BBS. Damn my car for not selling fast enough

I wish you had cash for it too. Sounds like you are one of the few people who realize what this actually is.

Yup, sold it a couple hours after posting it on that site. But....the money hasn't made its way into my PayPal account yet, so who knows. The guy that got it lives in North Carolina and I've got like a hundred emails from people all over the country looking to get this thing. I should've started a bidding war.

good to see that its gone to a fan
edit: I agree with garretej8
weasel your way out of the sale and say that there was a problem with another car so you had to keep the miata longer. then in a week or 2 put it on ebay and link that auction to miata.net

miata.net will delete the for sale ad of a link to an ebay site..... and because you sold it via you're supposed to give 10% of the sale price to miata.net so it can keep functioning

10% of a sale just because it was listed on their site?
LOL, thats the 1st I've heard something like that.
So you are saying that since he sold a Miata on that site for $5k, he'd "owe" them $500 for use of their site for a listing that takes up hardly any space in the forum and probably has the pictures linked from another site?

miata.net is gayer than the Miata itself

Just let the ad expire.. thy will never know.
miata.net is pretty gay, but the people on there will pay out the ass for "rare" miata stuff.
cherry bomb, good job posting it on miata.net, those 93's go for alot there.

yea, thats why no one under 35 uses miata.net except for basic maintenance issues,,,,
clubroadster.com (the the jdm/itb's scene)
roadsterdrift.com (self explanatory)
miataturbo.net (self explanatory, but a wealth of turbo/ engineering knowledge but you better be thick skinned and not ask dumbass questions.)
those are the major 3 other than miata.net

Here's an update. The car was not sold because apparently my PayPal account had not been verified yet and I couldn't receive money in yet. I'd only used it for buying small things (read: car parts) on eBay and didn't think I needed to do that. So a guy came out on Saturday and was pretty picky and didn't want it. Then he told another guy from North Carolina (that was going to buy it sight unseen) all the minor shortcomings of the car and he offered a way lower price than I'm willing to take for it. I've still been inundated with offers from all over the country. I just need to see if I feel like dealing with shipping stuff.
The long and short of it is that the car is still for sale. BTW, I never heard anything about giving 10% of the sale to miata.net. I had to spend $30 for the ad in the first place. If they think they're getting 10% of the sale, they can suck my left nut.
