So during the past automotive classes I've had at CCC, I've wandered around the storage room. Which is full of parts from engines that they've torn apart.

Well during these wandering I've come across a turbo.
I never really gave thought to it until recently.
I looked at the make and model of the turbo but it didnt sound familiar: AirResearch M24 turbo.

Earlier today I searched it on google. Turns out this is a Garrett turbo.

Tech from GTR.co.uk. A large Skyline forum from United Kingdom.

GARRETT Turbocharger (N1 type)
0.60A/R Compressor Housing
62 Trim Compressor Wheel (35lbs/min)
0.64 A/R Turbine Housing
79 Trim Turbine Wheel
Rated 350hp -400hp each Turbo (650hp-700hp pair)

In case of an R34 it's a ball bearing turbo, the R33 used to have std bearing turbo's

I think I wanna "relieve" the college of the turbo and give it a new home in my WRX.

Or atleast on ebay. Im sure u can get a nice chunk for that. In my old automotice class, i took the stock probe turbo off of a old motor and sold it on ebay... 14$ , haha, cost 21$ to ship it. But a skyline turbo, you could prob. get a decent amount.

Actually its missing its brother. Cause normally it would be part of twin turbo system.

This picture is of the M24 but a .48 compressor instead of .60.

But only a few people are familiar with it.
