I've looked into a couple local Schools / classes and really only came across one (Bucks County Tech.) that seemed decently priced but classes have already started.
I'm 32 (although I don't seem it) and not some fool who's going to mess up your shop or equipment without replacing or fixing it. I have a mechanical background in small engine repair, Art school, and love nothing more then building / creating.
I'm looking for anyone with the equipment, the free time, and the willingness to of course let me get some hands on experience. This could go 2 ways with it being a meet and greet, give me the run down, and let me start firing. Or a somewhat of a professional run down "schooling", have me do a couple pieces, give advice on technique, and really get me involved.
I've of course read online "how to" guides with some small short videos but for me that doesn't do it justice. I also understand a simple meet up isn't going to make me a welder and that it takes time, experience, and skill.
I will pay. What I pay is up to you and the time you can invest. I don't expect you to be a pro either. I could give cash of course for some solid time invested or bring beer and pizza. You decide.
