I just purchased a 1997 Acura Integra LS. Its an automatic that shifts smooth and runs great. I don't really have much invested in it, so I'm looking to keep it that way. Its not a model worth spending too much money in, IMO. But I was wondering what are some cheap mods/bolt-ons that would make the car handle a bit more responsively and make it create a bit more power. Thanks for looking! Oh and by the way this is my first post on here so hopefully its not too bad.:-p

auto? I'd stay away from an exhaust then, i've always hated the sound of auto honda's with exhausts. I'd say go with a nice set of coilovers w/ a nice wheel/tire combo + strut bars, that'll help in the handling department. For more power? I wouldn't really do much. Your not gonna get much gains, if any, by working with cheap bolt-ons so i'd say make it look the way you want (nice clean oem/jdm ftw) and get a good car alarm.

This is my first time owning a teg...are they really that coveted. Do i need to get a car alarm or will a good old club on the steering wheel do the trick?

id run a high flow filter...not an intake or anything just a high flow filter...and i meen for control...ehhh maybe some strut bars and cup coil overs if your not looking to spend to much money...take a look into the for sale section on here and on honda-tech. welcome to the boards.

depending on how much you want to spend you can start with type-r suspension such as the rear sway bar and so on. If its aftermarket you want, even though you do not want to spend too much, it will cost you to do it correctly.

You WILL need an alarm. If i were you I would get the alarm, the club, and a clutch lock. They ARE that coveted.

How much does an alarm system cost...how much does a clutch lock cost(if that applies to an auto).

Def get an alarm, look at viper security systems but as it goes with most things, the more expensive the alarm the better it should be. I just got one not to long ago and it cost a decent amount more than 200 installed.

Well I was pretty sure on the sale of this car but it fell through. Very rough body and not as described, Im really pissed about it. Looks like the Camry will have to do for the time being... :(
