I did. Its not possible. I am convinced you have to like take the motor out to get the starter out. Sure, you can get it unbolted and wiggle it around and what not...but actually getting it out of there? haha....nah. I laid under this POS for like 3 hours trying to get that dam thing out of there and it will not come out. Its a 1990 pathfinder with 255k on it, frames too rusted to get inspected again, and the inspection runs out in 2 months. And to top it all off, its my brother in laws spare vehicle, and he's bitching about me replacing it. I'm gonna call him and just be like "yo...its a POS, inspections out in 2 months, a starter is almost $100, and the labor of it if you took it somewhere would be more then the whole cars worth...just junk it." If he gets pissed I'm driving over there and kickin him in the effin nads.

lmao pretty much. Basically, theres no room to get it out through the top because of the manifold, can't go out the back because of the bell housing, can't go our the front because it wont fit between the motor mount..mount (part welded to the frame), and it wont come out the bottom. The cars goin to the junkyard. Anybody need parts off it? The body is in good shape, interior is good. It just wont ever pass inspection again, the frame is rotted, and it's only got 2 months left on the current inspection. I said eff it. Just hoping I get the title for my car soon so I can start driving it!

bahh I just ran outside with a flashlight and it doens't look too bad. You will have to remove the manifold though. If your brother in law wants another one, pm me.
