Im planning to be there early on sunday since thats the only day im open.
I am hoping that we get atleast 5 runs a person or something.

I mean 250 max person a day is alot for a track to accomadate for unlimited runs. Unless 250 max person is total, including the drivers and spectators...

Anybody know the rules, like whats the regulation?

As tempting as it is.. Cant go.. Me and TehGc have plans to go to the Susquehannock rally those days. Why did they have to choose that weekend :(

^^^ loll it would be fun to have a little bumper car action on the track. although i dont have any front bumper, just the skin  so maybe not.

but yea, i say, if your worried about breaking it, dont run it

I'm not worried about anything really, just the only person that is allowed to break my car is me.

i wonder if this is limited to just cars, or if they'll allow bikes. i wouldnt mind getting a lap in on a new track.

Just a heads up to all convertibles. You are required to have a rollbar and a harness. I am not sure if this still applies to you if you have a hardtop or not

After this free run the cost to rent the track is 6k for a weekday and $7,500 for weekend

frosti108
05-26-2008, 11:48 PM
hmmm tri state tuner track day, 60 people, 100 dollar a pop. wouldnt be too bad i guess

den9
05-27-2008, 12:02 AM
that sucks about the convertible rules, if i had an S2000 id be pissed

what are the other rules? how much does it cost when its not free?

edit- does a S2000 roll bar bolt right up or do u have to drill stuff out?

i see this being like trying to get your hands on an xbox 360 the day they came out...this info is probably on every honda, subaru, nissan, mazda site around...it's going to be retarded packed...i'll save the gas and time and just look for the pix of the lines after the weekend

thats a bargain, if u rent it by urself thats alot of loot, but u do have a whole track alone

even if u have 30 people, not crowded, 200 bucks aint bad at all

im sure it costs atleast 50 bucks to go there anyway with 100 other cars there

i just hope its always open to the public

heres a video
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gpT9-3KRrJw

didnt look like anything i thought of, i was imagining it having those checkered curb things on the sides, and sand/rocks on the outsides of the turns

i would love too, but the 250 car limit killed it.

I'd like to try it out but I have a feeling its going to be crazy packed.

Luckly I just had the opertunity to drive this course @ speed with the NNJR SCCA this past weekend. I had a blast! Granted this was an autox and we didn't use 100% of the track like you would during a track day, but it was a challanging and technical setup none the less. Kinda reminded me of Shenandoah in a couple ways.

that's a really old vid. they had only just finished the actual paving of the track when they made that video.

if you can get the 30-35 people that have the cash to pitch in for the track then it would be worth it. i just wanna do it for the experience.
