It's an exhaust on an NA motor, unless you spend big money for top quality stuff (race header, T1R pipes, ect), you will probably see similar gains and get a lot of noise. I havent heard much about reliability from thermal, but the greddy sp2 on my buddies dc2 sounded nice. I would look into the fujitsobo (sp?) powergetter, that is a pretty sweet exhaust IMO.
In the end it's your car, pick a pipe that you think looks nice and is in your budget. If you can't find something you really like right away, don't waste money on whatever is for sale just for the sake of having an exhaust. Take your time and get the right part at the right price.

It has a dc race header on it now and i think im looking for something a little more quiet but id like to here something thats why i was leaning a little more towards the greddy and the fact that it looks good on the car. so ive heard.

The Greddy SP2 Exhaust sounds nice on almost any car. If you have headers on your car your definitely going to hear it but it won't be extremely loud. We are an authorized dealer for Greddy (and plenty of other exhausts) give us a call if you need anything or just want to check prices. (732) 951-9111

whatever you decide to get please keep on the catalytic converter and at least put a resonator on it.

Thermal exhaust owns all!! By far the best and most exotic sounding systems you can put on the K-series motor.

...um no... go race header and take off the cat the power gains are worth every penny...
and i would suggest the fujitsubo powergetter, HKS Hi-power, or T1R
i have a greddy sp2 for sale if anybody is interested.
