Yeah im thinking i might have the remote startup done professionally. But about my audio, i hate the wiring job the guy did before me, wondering if someone could clean it up a bit, maybe help me run new wires, and whanot, and explain why my headunit clips and turns off sometimes when the volume is too loud.
wondering if its the inproper gauge wires, or if my alternator needs to be replaced with a higher performance one.

A head unit usually clips or turns off at high volumes because there is a break in the power or ground wiring. If one of the wires is frayed or not connected properly and it touches metal or something in the dash, it will cause an uneven current and with the newer decks these days, they are programmed to shut off.
I wouldn't suspect the alternator belt unless you are seeing dimmer than usual headlights, flickering of other lights in the car (gauges, interior lights, etc) or if you are having rough/no starts. I have a tool that we can use (pending I can find it! lol) to see if your system is good or not.
I am probably one of the pickiest wire guys around. At least I think I am. I had brief employment at World Wide Stereo in Montgomeryville as well, and their installs and cleanliness rubbed off on me. Like I said, I'll help you with the audio stuff no problem.. just let me know.

ask TehGc He has done both before, Audio is a cinch for him and remote startup he can do as well I think. But He knows his stuff with audio and electrical. He worked at tweeter for a bit, and at Best buy as an installer as well as has done some stuff for friends before and for his own personal vehicles.
