Anyone leaving warcraft for this? Picked it up yesterday an registered for the forums alot of people are saying the combat is alot better, plus with the mature rating it has alot more violence an language.

I got my preorder the other day and am running to get my copy tomorrow at lunch. At least for now I play to play AoC and still do my SSC/TK raiding in Wow, might change down the line though.

Yeah i grabbed mine on Saturday, i quit wow afew months ago cause i couldnt make the neede 4 days a week for Black Temple.

It honestly seems to be running better then WoW on mine so far. What server are you playing on?

i was on Set, its runs pretty smooth but at a lower Frame Rate then WoW did for me. I never went belew 50fps in wow here i'm chilling in the Teens in towns.

I forget where I made my guy. I do love how sometimes when my Demonologist kills a guy with a fire spell he'll flail around and scream while on fire. The game is so pretty.

Yeah the finishing move system is cool i had a 6 Demon on Set but i just moved over to my buddys server on Ajuvu now i have a 7 Tempest which i thought was suppose to be a mage too but most of his moves so far are melee except for the part that you can turn into a demon.

Demonologist is the closest thing to a mage in the game. The tempest sounds a bit like the Herald of Xoti which seems like a dark Paladin.

I was reading on the aoc.wikia.com page and saw that they are cloth wearers to. The idea of using a big 2handed weapon with cloth armors seems like it could be a fun class.

Very nice. I'm looking forward to see what my demonologist can do.

How exactly do those work? Is it just a chance of happening or are they from the combos? I'm only lvl6 so I haven't gotten very far.

With the demonologist i was just spamming the fire spell an it kept roasting them. The lighting spell at 8 or 9 does something too, so far i think the best one i've seen is the necromancer. When the person dies a Ice Demon spawns an wraps the body an chains an steals the soul then you get the Ice Demon for about 2-3 min.

That does sound pretty awesome. Yesterday I was browsing around youtube looking for videos of them. I'm hoping I finally get a chance to play this weekend and really get to try the game out.
