What do you guys make of this? I know the R chassis was never made in LHD. So...is this a 240 someone turned into a Skyline or what?

I understand that. But if it was never made in LHD, where did the dashboard come from?

good point. its not like they could have gotten the parts off a "USDM" Skyline. interesting.....either someone is a sick fabricator or...i dont even know.

And even if someone went all out and made a mold of the dashboard/door panels etc. and produced a LHD version, why wouldn't they make more and sell them. That's a lot of work for just 1 car.

Can't you get them in certain countries, that's what I thought

As far as I know...they've never been offered in LHD anywhere. Besides, if they were, then I'm sure places like Motorex wouldn't have bothered with the RHD ones when importing. I'm sure it would have been easier to legalize a LHD version.

if they had the skyline in mainland europe it wouldn't be too far fetched.

I was allways told that nissan never made a LHD version of any of the Skylines becasue a steering shaft would not fit on the left side due to the twin turbos.

most likely custom dash and door panels same firewall just drilled new holes into it. Their was a guy on the nico forums that had one a while back and the steering shaft will clear just have to modify it a little bit I mean you can plop one of those suckers into a 240

If they did (which I do not believe), then why don't we see more of them anywhere? Not just in the US but in general. The Skyline was never offered in LHD. Any market that it was sold in, was sold as RHD...unless someone can show me otherwise.

Dumb joke.

However...

IT'S HERE!!! Finally, after two years of waiting, several delays and obstacles encountered along the way, the GTR is at last in my hands. My appreciation goes out to Tomo Q Corporation for the sourcing out of the vehicle, Skyline Motors for the incredible LHD conversion, Croydon Racing Developments for the outstanding engine work, and the countless number of people who have made this project possible.

Well, I stand corrected. I apologize. I've never known that to exist.

Oh my......that's nuts. I never knew those existed. For a minute I though the picture was mirrored...but the GTR on the floormat is correct.
