From what I have read and talked to people on other forums about those cars are junk. Some dude does them out of his garage or something like that and there are only 6 or so. From my understanding they all have problems and a lot of the people aren't happy, I didn't look at the ebay link but there is a silver one that keeps tradding hands.

Thats how life is with any swapped car. There's always going to be some issue to work out.
The real problem is that the people who do these swaps dont do their own work, and then freak out when something minor happens because they always have to keep running back to a shop.

Check out this build. Twins Turbo are building one for a customer who is going to drive it in a upcoming Gumball Rally. The car looks like it's going to be pretty ugly, but the engine build looks pretty cool.

I'm kinda disappointed that the dash isnt working. The digital dash in the s2k is sexy as hell.

Thats a cool idea but meh, why swap if you have to lose unique factory function. I guess to some it doesn't matter... But to me it just seems easier.

I wouldn't touch that s2k with a 30 ft pole. If you've ever heard anything about the guys who built that, you would want to stab them in the face. Half the parts on that car are from other cars they stole the pieces from.
Fifty fifty racing. look them up and learn to hate.

why would you swap an s2k. Especially for a road car. Just boost it and be happy, from the factory the s2k is certainly peppy. Even with a mild cam set-up with support air-flow mods the car would be a very fun to drive road car. Seems stupid to me.

A buddy of mine had a turbo s2k. Almost 500whp. ****ing crazy insane. I loved that car.

I've always loved cool swaps... they put that 2JZ into anything- mustangs, rx7s, etc. There are a few Supras with V8s- now that is sick :)

I can almost guarantee that most performance shops started out of some guys garage, going back all the way to the moon shine runners

You didn't mention that '69 Camaro/2JZ swap ...extremely well done, excellent craftsmanship everywhere...why? because they can and to be different. I wonder if that would be a repost here?

But the those guys get arrested for scams like the guys that builds the 2jz s2k's?
These cars are crap, we talk about them sometimes on s2ki. It's not worth it, none of them work correctly. These are not little problems these cars have, they have huge problems.
Even if it did work it wouldn't be worth it. You've just thrown off the whole car, a car built for handling and you've added an additional 300+ pounds to the front end AND the engine no longer sits behind the front axles.

This one was built by ADTURBO, not 50/50 racing. Goes 10.44 in the 1/4 mile:
