View Full Version : anyone got a tow truck/ flatbed?

ok scratch my original post.
i need a city certified towtruck driver.
the car was ****ing picked up as an abandoned car.
i need to pull it out of the yard via a city certified tow truck.
they are quoting me 160 bucks to get from port richmond to moontgomeryville.

anyone wanna do it for me?

AAA wouldnt work as it's a non city certified something blah blah blah

were do you live? If you can get a flat bet I got an f250 that can tow a uhaul trailor. As long as your not to far I can tow a trailor if you rent one. Just a thought.

sorry I haven't bought a new trailor yet.

i live in manayunk, but my parents are in montgomeryville.
some one backed into the hood and now it won't close :( i can't drive it like this cuz the hood will fly open :(

Take the hood off and drive it home? It's probably not legal to do that, so do it at night so the 5-0 don't notice. :banana:

forgot to say the motor hasn't been turned it about 5 months and the battery is dead :o

Yeah. I think your brother will have to be there to give the tow guy the AAA card. I'm not 100% sure on that. I know when I was having problems with my Integra, I used my mom's AAA card to get a flatbed. She had to be there. I couldn't exactly impersonate my mom...lol.

Yeah. I think your brother will have to be there to give the tow guy the AAA card. I'm not 100% sure on that. I know when I was having problems with my Integra, I used my mom's AAA card to get a flatbed. She had to be there. I couldn't exactly impersonate my mom...lol.

They should be able to help you out.

i just called him
much cheaper he said $100, unlike the dude at the yard saying $160.

He works at an insurance place :)

I may give them a call to get the truck moved from KoP to my parents place as I move on the 30th. I could drive the truck, but no inspection and iffy on whether my insurance is up to date on the truck... lol not to mention the engine tapping to the tune of some iron maiden song lol

Yeah they are cheaper than just about anybody and unlike most Philly tow trucks the have flatbeds instead of F250 dually with some crap on the back ahhaha :)

haha I asked for a quote from KoP to glenside and I was told around $100 to $120-130
