I've seen pics of the car before, finally glad I know the story behind it. That car is butt ugly haha
Clean it up a little and it's not as bad as the teggie I passed on my way home today....this would actually be functional.

there was something posted about this car a while back.
Not sure if it was a video or just pictures and an article.
It's still ugly either way

"55 mpg driving around town"
aero work means nothing if ur going under 35 so how does he double the mileage with just body parts during stop n go traffic? this story is bs and i cant believe it made it onto the news......

lol, yes there is. Not with that aero work, but you guys obviously dont do much research on the civic vx. It is very possible to get 55mpg highway, i dont see why with a very lean tune, hard tires, and a light car the same motor couldnt see 55 town with conservative driving.

Sure it is. His "town" looks like it consists of mainly farmy backroads, so he can easily keep a constant speed and if he coasts a lot its very possible.
Hell, last tank I got 36.8mpg around town cause I drove for that purpose. My car is rated at 32 city (and youll usually never meet the old EPA estimates)
Its possible

He just got called out about his body kit at the Carlisle Speed & Style show and this is the story he came up with. Go figure some half-wit local news channel would do a story on it "saving gas".
They did the same story on this thing the year before
