thoughts on yellow or smoked headlights

im goin to SOG tomorrow to get my headlights done but i was wondering which would look better gettin my headlight smoked or gettin it yellow? if it was yellow im thinkin im gonna be gettin alot of slack with it cuz i have a black car and it gonna stand out please give me your thoughts on either smoked or yellow cuz my tailights are gettin smoked too thanks:cool:

Either way I know the cops will give you trouble, My friend Nick had yellow BULBS in his integra and got 3 tickets for them in less than a month (horsham cops) so he finally took them out, and then just the other night, Dennis with the black supercharged civic (he is on TST) got pulled over and got a ticket for his headlights being tinted yellow... So just be careful

i have the yellow film over my headlights, imo they look bad on ALL cars including mine, but i do it for the protection aspect. i put em on right b4 i raced at lime rock

edit, forgot to tell you, i asked a police officer b4 i installed them to see if they were legal. he said as long as it doesnt change the color of the light beam then its ok. and for most cars, its gonna change the color of the beam.

if you have HID like me it wont be such a drastic change, mine are barely different at all, but if u have standard bulbs then yes they will look pee yellow and u will draw attention.

imo the smoked style is even dumber bc itll darken the color from the bulbs, the yellow at least is still bright. but thats just from what ive seen. if it isnt for some real important reason then dont bother, i see it as lose lose for anyone doing it for a look

damn i mite just get it a lil grey smoke then yellow is gonna draw to much attention and then tailight i know alot of people have them smoked so i dont know if that gonna be a problem either

yea i put yellow bulbs in my 240...and got 4 tickets with in 2 weeks... yea... i took them out lol. the cop also told me that he spotted my car from miles away just from the headlights lol..yea so just be careful

Tinted headlights are great but you can't see **** at night. I couldn't even with my HID's so the tint film was pulled off. Heres a photo of the old setup.

I like smoked out , and yellow fogs , but i had it on my car the tint sucks at night.
