Will a WRX spare fit over four pots?

ha... if you get a flat on the rear then yes it will fit. if you get a flat on the front then you have to move one of your normal wheels from the rear to the front, then put the spare on the rear. geddit?

It doesn't make sense? I'm driving 5 hours to Boston. A flat could ruin the entire weekend. I'd rather have a tire I can drive one and sort it out once I get home.

Plan for the worst, hope for the best.

thats what the spare is for... thats why i'm confused. but if a full size makes you feel better then i hope you can find one in time..

Drivign at the recommended 45mph for 5 hours isn't my idea of fun.

Aw, hell, I had a wheel stolen in NJ and drove 3 hours home to MD at 65mph on the 45mph spare. I lived. The chances of you getting a flat are nil anyway, plus if you really don't want to exceed 45mph, find a tire shop off the next exit. Not like PA-> Boston is off the beaten path.

Ahhh...Jakes car has 4 wheels that would work on your car. However isn't driving on uneven tires with AWD a bad idea?

ah, good point... if you dont have 4 tires that are all exactly the same aspect ratio thats not ideal... but now that i think of it i dont think the spare is either.
