OK, well i dont know if this is the right place to inquire about it, but here goes.
I dont know if you guys have ever done one or looked into it before. But i have been through 3 of these 3rd gen preludes and i need more power... for a lack of better explanation.. their b20a's have no balls w/o dropping 7g's just to keep up with everyone else.
Some facts. A company called AZ Race & Machine has began producing mount kits for the swap since hasport or who ever it was stopped. Rywire makes the harness's so you dont really have to bother with modifying it on your own. And a few companies are either done with it or are in the process of producing the proper axles to work with the swap. Theres also some shift linkage work needed...but i havnt really read into that too much.
So my question is, if i get all the main parts necessary for the swap. I.e. mounts, wiring, engine, trans, ecu... would you guys be interested in tackling something like this?
& if so is it possible to throw out a figure on how much i'd be looking to spend or would you have to know every little thing you'd need to be doing? if its not possible to give me a ball park figure i'd understand, cuz its not that common a swap.
& can you guys get ahold of motors...? obviously the h22.
Anything you could tell me i'd appreciate. thanks.
