hey i was wondering how can you tell when ur clutches gonna go and when u need replace it?

get on the highway in fourth gear and mash the gas. If the RPMs go up not in relation to speed then its clutch time.

o ok so if the rpms go up faster and the speed slowly goes up rite? got you

the RPMs will jump and you won't go anywhere.
There are other ways to diagnose it but thats just a simple test. It could happen in third gear, fifth, etc. I just said fourth because you will notice it if the RPMs jump and you dont go anywhere

got lots of good experence with both, act is much cheaper depending how you need the car to perform

Yeah it is, springtime up there you get some awesome pictures. That picture was actually during the winter but there was no snow up there.

I've heard if you put the car into 3rd gear and let go of the pedal half way the car should stall. If it doesn't the clutch needs replacement. This also should be done on a flat surface and no gas should be applied.

I am using an OEM Exedy replacement and I don't have any complaints.

oem exedy replacement in my civic and center force in my rx7! but the exedy will be just fine if your not putting down a boat load of power!

where would check my clutch fluid in a lexus is300 becasue everytime i go into gear it hard and it does slide in.

there should be a dipstick on the side of the trans which lets you check levels
