View Full Version : 08 Accord v6 or 08 Altima v6

Just curious what you guys think of the two cars. Both would be the v6 with a 6 speed manual tranny 2 doors. Any opinions, suggestion etc.......

Yes.. get a loaded 4 cyl with gas prices the way they are headed. With a stick it should still be peppy enough.

fully loaded cupe altime is gonna cost you as much as a maxima. personaly i'm a nissan fan so i say go nissan.

if you're looking at accord and altima coupes id say go with the accord coupe, an altima v6 coupe will run you as much as a base 350z basically....but honestly id have to test drive them to make my final decision...i suggest you do the same.

I like the look of the new Accord, so of those two choices, that gets my vote.

Yea def will test drive them both. Just figured Id get some feedback first. Car and driver did a test on these two cars and the mitsu Eclipse. The Accord won out over the other two with the Altima coming in second.

An Altima Coupe 3.5SE with the 3.5SE premium package has an MSRP of about $29K. You should be able to do much better than that. Take your time and let the delaership know you'll buy the car when you get it for the price you want.

Wait for the CTS coupe. I like personally the Accord Coupe has a more agressive look (of the two) and I, a Nissan guy, would buy one over the Altima.

Accord is 6speed too there bud. With better gearing, a better powerplant, and better suspension.

My buddy has the new accord coupe, pretty nice on the inside. A lot nicer than his Altima, which was fairly new.

Yea in the car and driver test the Acoord ran a 14.0 and the alt ran a 14.3. Not to bad for either.

Yes they do make a 6 speed 2 door 6 cylinder!

Both are pretty good looking cars. However, the Altima looks kinda bad in some angles~ looks like an uglier G6 coupe. The Accord looks like a girly car sometimes. I would have to vote Accord.
