Thinking of putting on mugen type lips all around my car instead of a body kit(too ricey). Anyway tell me what you think and if not the mugen lips what kind of lips would look good on a civic ex 2000
if youre going to worry about all corners of the car then worry about the suspension its sitting on. youve done plenty of appearance, now its time for some handling. Then after you get a qualit suspension set up youll see what lips or kit look good at that new height

Teins!
Frank with the S2000 had Tein Flex's with the EDFC.
Hated them.
Now rolls on Zeal Coilovers. And has never looked back.
My vote goes to Cusco!

not that reliable over time if your lowered more than 2". my si had that combo and the rear shocks were done after 25,000 miles. id recommend the koni adjustable over the kyb's

I meant the Tein suspension that costs like $1,200.

I think I'll just roll with my Eibach Springs for right now....Hopefully some Tien's in the future after the turbo.

might as well do full coilovers cuz ull need new shocks anyways once they blow. dont go cheap, cuz ull end up spending more in the long run.

Bingo, nothing looks worse than a bodykitted car at stock ride height.

Yeah, the Tein Flex's with EDFC = > than $1200. I hear bad things about tein coilovers, i.e. blow out and need rebuilt faster than other brands.

if you're really into making your car handle over how it looks, then get coilovers. it's a long term commitment since you have to plan for a rebuild within the first 2-3yrs depending on brand.
the reason you hear so much bad talk about teins is because most off the people who buy the coilovers will install them without proper/mandatory corner balancing. when you dont do this it leads to early wear of certain shocks and a very uncomfortable ride. as well as not getting your money's worth out of your new suspension.
if you want a lower stance than get some kyb gr2's and whiteline, eibach, or h&r springs.
