coolent questions

my rad. poped the top tank and I replaced the radiator with a ome and now it uses coolant about a pint and a half in a day.It don't leak it out anywhere but when it cools off it drinks it from the bottle got any clues ... oh I also did the test to see if the head was leaking and the fluid stayed blue ..no drips under car no hoes leaking its possessed

You sure the rad/system is full? A pint a day is a lot of coolant, how many days has it done this? It's either not completely air free and still pushing air out or you have a leak that only leaks under full pressure.

What kind of car? Make sure it's burped and do the 4 gas test on the coolant..

thought you knew wrx 02 with 202,000 miles. did the gas test and came up neg. yes was burped with throttle body line. put the new rad. in week ago and I think I drove 500 miles

if you have access to it, hook up a coolant system tester (screws on like a coolant cap), pump it up to stock pressure and then let it sit for as long as you can (maybe an hour....over night ever). If it goes down, you have a leak somewhere.

OR bleed your system. That pint that you are adding could just be an airpocket coming back to the top everytime. Not good in the long run.

yes I can do that my buddy has a radiator shop and when I get back home ( in oh.now ) we will do the pressure test and a cyl. leak down test also
