just picked up a 05 wrx

49K miles. prob gonna sell it in a little while. Just bought it to have some fun and use it as my DD. bone stock except for a HKS BOV. 5 speed. and a weird color paint. looks like gold/silver mixed from the factory. maybe ill put a exhaust on it and intake just to open it up a little but it should be a fun DD. :mrgreen:

anybody have good forums to be on? I want the stock wing. it is currently wingless and dont have the hood scoop and maybe a front bumper. mine is cracked a little

The BOV is doing horrible things to your engine right now. Sure it sounds cute, but its making you run super rich between shifts because its strictly metered MAF system. Please do yourself and the Subaru community a favor and take that peice of garbage off.

I do, and it's staying right where it is....doing its job recirculating the air into the turbo inlet. Try looking on the the Suby sites, there many a foolish teen with BOV's that have there BPV's laying around.

BOV on a otherwise stock suby = previous owner didn't know what he was doing/ricer

Throw some swaybars on it, it will handle better and I am pretty sure the drivetrain warranty would still be in tact.

its just a DD. I have the fast car and the car that goes around turns just want a little get up and go driver 4 door. i want it bone stock and always stock for resale. not many people buy cars with mods anyway.

im saying i can buy a stocker for about 35-50 bucks. and can sell my HKS for 150. 50 plus your stocker puts me 50 behind. Id do $100 plus your stocker.
