This 56 Chevy Wagon was brought to us while undergoing a full resoration at Emenheiser Autobody in Red Lion, PA. We installed a full 304 stainless steel dual exhaust and reworked the driver side header to clear the steering column.
The header was first and was cut just enough to mount the steering components.

Then the header was cut back as neccesary for the new primaries to be routed

Next few pictures show the modified header and steering shaft with plenty of clearance. Header would later be sent to be recoated.

We had to fabricate these unique collectors from stainless to mate up with the header flange design

Completed TIG welded exhaust system and frame at a show. Customer opted for us to polish the exhaust from the rear axle back to the tips.
