Anyone else have plans to turbo a non-turbo neon?

Hey! I'm just curious if anyone else has a non-srt-4 thats looking into modding and turboing it. Everyone with a neon seems to have an srt-4, and i feel alllll alone! lol

I did when I'm younger but I'm glad i didn't. Would of been a big waste of money unless i went with a major build. You can get srt-4's at such good prices now it's not worth it imo. good luck with it thou if you do,talk to ray at turbotektuning he knows his neons.

it is worth the money... its been done many times... so has the srt-4 swap into a base neon.

I saw a custom turbo neon run at the track... unfortunately he blew his motor up and littered the track with oil and coolant about half way up it

yes...back when I was in ECN (east coast neons) a club that is now fallen apart last I heard, there were a few turbo neons...pretty good cars IMO, but I liked the 1g better
