it will be released on October 1, 2008. I found that can preorder this game online at this time.

I thought RE4 on PS2 was awesome and i've seen the trailers for the new one and it looks even better.

Re5 is set for May 09 according to Gamestop (which I trust a little more then some random site).

But Capcom is keeping a lot of major details unknown for a while. Im sure more info will come out as time passes.
