Hey guys,
The site has grown awfully quickly and apparently there are a lot of you out there who like to refresh the forums every 5 or 10 minutes, which has resulted in a lot more bandwidth being used than I expected. So, as of last night, the site is on its own dedicated server and should have plenty of space to grow (for a while). Did anyone notice how lightning quick it moves?!?! :cool:
This also means the cost of the site has gone up substantially. Before it was very cheap, but now its another expense that this unemployed fool has to worry about. I know some guys have offered to donate here and there to help out, but I think I've come up with a better idea...
So, without further adieu, I present the first TST Fundraising Raffle!
The winner will receive one full-fledged photoshoot of their car (and/or their girlfriend :eek: ), including two 8x10 prints and a CD with copies of every photo I take in low resolution. I have been a working photographer for a good long while now and have a full professional digital setup. You can check out some of my photojournalism at www.bryantroll.com
I will be selling tickets through the end of March at $5 each, and you can buy as many as you like.
*The drawing has been changed to April 3rd at the Tyler State Park meet. That should be a good time to announce the winner, but you dont have to be in attendance to win, so if you cant make it out dont worry... anyone can enter.*
In case you're curious, I would normally charge $50 for the shoot, $25 for each printed 8x10, and between $25 and $50 for a photo CD, depending on how many shots are on it. So all in all this is worth $125+. After the winner is picked we can set up a time to get together for the shoot, meeting up somewhat halfway if we are far apart.
You can purchase 'tickets' either in person at the Thursday Neshaminy Red Robin meets or you can Paypal me at bryantroll(at)gmail.com for them. Either way it will be $5 for each.
