I was looking for a place to install springs and perform an alignment on my Subaru. After looking on NASIOC, I was pretty much set on going to Precision Tuning up in Jersey. Then I came onto TST and checked out the vendor section, reading reviews and getting quotes from the vendors. After getting numerous quotes (all of which were way more than I was looking to spend) I found R/T Tuning and read some great reviews about them, so I PM'ed Vince.
Vince PM'ed me back right away, and let me know I could come up anytime during the week and he would take care of me just as good if not better than Precison would. The only problem was with my current work schedule, weeknights were not an option for me. No problem. Vince told me to come up Saturday March 8th and he would fit me in.
So I drive up in the fog 45 minutes north to Lansdale and see a bunch of nice cars parked outside. I walk in and think to myself, damn, a "tuner" shop that isn't ghetto, this is nice. Vince greeted me with a handshake and let me know Pat would be able to start on my car. Pat then came in, introduced himself, and let me know he would be doing the work on my car. I had to wait up there while the work was done, and Vince was tuning a pretty beastly DSM, so I just sat on the leather couch and read some magazines (the Eva Longoria Maxim was nice ). 3 hours later, my car was done. Pat explained all of the alignment numbers to me, and took it for a test drive in the pouring rain to make sure everything was straight, and I was off on my way.
I would highly recommend R/T Tuning to anyone in the area. It is hard to find an honest and professional "tuner" shop, but I think it is safe to say I have found one in R/T. Great prices, great service, honest, and professional, not to mention they know cars. Really, what more can you ask for? Chalk up yet another satisfied R/T customer.
