What would one go for that is beautiful stock looking? As in stock everything but no rust, no body work, mint interior, and 170k+ mi. Only problem would be a bad windshield and hood. What you u guys think that be worth? Thanks

honestly if its in perfect visual and running condition other than the hood and windshield... i would say $1500, seriously. ive seen 100% mint condition crx's with 120k on the clock go for $3000 that i almost bought until i found a different car

1500 sounds really cheap. The owner said car was never red lined and hardly ever yellow lined. Car was basically babied its whole life and taken very good care of. I see cars with rusted quarters going for 1500 - 2k. Think 2500 be a good price or too high considering the windshield and hood are ****ed up? figure around 400 to get it fixed ya know. What ya guys think?

i plan on autocrossing it so i would like a stock one for sts2. KBB says the car should sell for 2060 from a private seller. So I'm looking to buy a nice one for around that price ya know? Trying to get one with very minimal rust and not beat to hell. My one friend paid 2200 for one that had no rust and low miles. So I'm expecting to pay around that for one. I def. think 2200 is a reasonable offer considering the windshield and hood are ****ed. What u guys think?

$1800 sounds about right. Check the quarter panels very well for rust. It starts on the inside first and works its way out.

Alright thanks guys. I'm gonna try and get the car if it drives nice. Yeah right up in the wheel wells get bad. I have like 3 other people going with me to check this thing out. lol. My one friend who has a crx is bringing his down to compare then my one friend is a damnnn good talker and finally my other friend who just wants to go. haha. offered the guy 2200 but just said he would call me. lol. He seemed like he really wanted twice more then what the car was worth. If he calls me back I'll just tell him I'll give ya 2k and thats the highest I'll go. It would need to be reinspected and will take at least 500 just to do that. lol. Car was nice though. Didn't have rear interior pieces but was clean. Guy says he was more people to come look at it, but I've heard that before and its just a bunch of bs. lol

Bad idea, if you already offered 2200 you cant go and offer 2k, thats gay, hes gonna think you are trying to dick him. If the car needs 500 to pass, missing interior, and has a ****ed hood/windshield i wouldnt offer more than 1k.

Look harder. You'll find more out there. I looked on craigslist a while for them, and found a few nice ones. Don't be afraid of a little rust through. Most have been repaired even if they don't show any. I'd rather have one with all OEM (and faded and peeling) paint so you don't get any Bondo surprises under that nice paint.

haha yeah i agree. I have one to go take a look at around me on Tuesday. One that is actually in the state of PA! lol. Its inspected and everything and has no bondo from what i was told, but i just have to find that out myself. O yeah and the guy is asking WAY less lol. If anyone knows of a stock si for sale with rear disc brakes send me a pm. It's appreciated. I've been on craigslist more times then i can remember looking for a decent one. lol.

Finding a non rusted, clean CRX Si is near impossible nowadays, I would pay 2,000-2,500 if the car is truly mint

The rear inteior is stripped? No more than 1500 then. If it needs that, a windsheild, and needs to be inspected the car is worth no more than 1500. I'd just wait for another one to come around.

Don't pay more than $1500. I've seen crx's with clean paint and motorswaps for $2500 needing no work. I've owned 7 crx's and never paid more than $1700 for a si in really good condition. That guy wants to much for that car
