lately I've seriously been considering selling the mustang i currently own. i love the car but I'm getting the itch to get an import again. well i have 2 people coming to look at the car this weekend so i need to start looking asap.

im looking to spend from 3-5 on a car

cars i'd be interested in

MR2
300zx
240sx
Supra (MKIII)
240sx (either s14 or s13)
DSM (AWD, Turbo)
Galant VR4 (maybe)
E30 Bmw with some suspension done
Celica All-Trac
FC RX-7
SC300 5-speed
A4 1.8T 5-speed


any other turbo imports shoot my way.

needs to be 5-speed and i can fix little things while driving (i only have one car) but no big problems please.

i think you could find a pretty nice 240 in that range or the supra thats for sale on here...the unique purple color one...that thing is pretty nice imo...im sure you will find something to fix your import need

haha yeah i thought of getting another stand or building mine but for now i want to try something different. that RX-7 is really nice but i just don't think i could drive a purple car like that.

but i also dont care if people said anything to me about it and probably wouldnt catch any heat for driving a purple car...so i kind of understand why someone wouldnt want one...and i totally understand wanting something different. i love my car right now and its running great and doing everything i want it to, but i wanna think about getting into something different

as for the 3gt comment, yeah if it was a VR4 i'd consider it! haha. but they go for more $$ than i have

Yeah they definitly go for more...you should look into some different forums if you already arent to try to find something that will fit your needs

My loss could be your gain. i have a 94 civic cp. i swapped the motor out and put the b18 b ls motor and tranny in. has about 30k on it. Then i put on a garret complete turbo kit. the turbo is a 50 trim huge! the car also has hazport motor mounts, 550 cc injectors, turbo xs bov, turbo xs bosst controller, jdm headlights, after market tail lights, carbon fiber hood, 16inch motegi mr7 rimsw/ brand new tires. has b&g coil overs and skunk2 camber kit- handles great! the trans has a stage 3 racing clutch and racing flywheel. i think i got it all also have acura rsx type s seats for the car but havent got the time to do so. 484 767 9937 is my number or email me at S3l3ct24@msn.com if interested. thanks -dan- also i see the max you have is 4500 i due have it up for sale for 5500 but due to need of money will take the loss for 4500

If your looking to spend a little more I might be able to work something out with you on a minty fresh boosted del sol. Car is in excellent shape...fresh tires as of about a week ago....new paint.....headgasket was done recently...all the seals in the head replaced and just changed the oil and coolant this weekend! Let me know if your interested...

thanks for all the replies guys. right now im seriously looking into this MR2 turbo... hopefully i'll be able to pick it up within the week. if its not all the guy says it is, or it seels before i get to it, i'll be looking again. That VR4 is tempting, if this MR2 falls through i'll let you know.

i actually talked tot he dude today, it wasn't that it was sold, its that he gets like 50 emails about the car a week because of the price and the car. He told me people tell him theyre going to come and stuff, but then never show up or show up with out a license or something. The car sounded exactly as he had said it was over email and PM's. I detail cars at a dealership so i can run car fax's for free, so i ran one tonight after i talked to him and the car has been hit like 5 times, one being "moderate to severe". so i'm writing it off.

as for the waiting for the cash, i have a couple people who will lend me the money until i sell my car, so i do have money when the right car comes along.

I've had it for just about a month, not too long. I have two people coming about it this weekend. One coming today, with a tentative offer of $4700 (a little lower than what I wanted, but, I have another car lined up with a deposit, so, I'm very open to offers right now), and another person interested in it for $5250 from my craigslist or autotrader ad (I listed it cheaper on the forums). So, if you're interested, swing down in the next day or so :) The car runs and drives, solid, clean and clear carfax history with no signs of any accidents.
