1st JNZ sponsored Dyno Day of 2008 (April 5, 2008)

Continuing with tradition let's start off '08 with a huge turnout (as usual). Last time we had over 25 cars on the dyno and almost 50 people show up. As usual, the event will take place at Philly Dyno Works which is in center city Philly.

AWD $110/hour
FWD $90/hour
2wd = 4 runs = $55
awd = 4 runs = $75

There will free food and prizes for highest HP cars in each class!!! Post up if you're interested! Once I have a decent number of people interested i'll post up an actual date (currently looking at a Saturday in April).

There is parking in the back. You have to be carefull parking on the street or else you might get a parking ticket like I did.

nah ive been busy and I havnt had it out to finish breaking it in cuz its been ****ty. I have about 180miles left on break in, then im going to baseline on low boost, get the meth and nitrous working then pulley down and tune for kill mode.

ill tell you how loud it is....its loud enough that on a highway of loud cars everywhere i look, and you about 200-300ft in front of me gun it, with about 20 cars in between us,it drowns out the sound of everyone elses car.

Curious to see how many people back out last minute like all dyno days, it happens every time. It's either the rush to get the car done, bad tuning, or just bad luck always gets at least 2-3 people the week of a dyno day.

It's VERY easy to get to. Definitely stop down. If you can't find anyone to follow you can follow the directions I post up later this week. You'll find the place, trust me. :supz:

I'll be taking I-76 to the vine street expressway then getting off at broad st. Then its a right onto Nectarine st, and a right onto 12th. If anyone wants to meet up in the morning to cruise down i can meet up anywhere along 202 between Westtown Road and KOP. I'm leaving from my work. I should be getting out between 8 and 8:30, so i am leaving pretty early.

The other way to go is just taking 95N, get off at Columbus blvd. Take columbus blvd up to Spring Garden st. and make a Left. Then just make a left onto 12th street.

We have had a lot worse weather at past dyno days and they ended up working out just fine so i doubt anything to bad will happen here. Obviously I'm hoping for a rain free day to, been dying to get out to a good meet the last couple months.

It's like impossible to run a 16g without creep unless you run external. Or get a ported evo 3 manifold, ported evo3 O2 housing, port and clip the turbo, maybe even go 34mm flapper haha :banana:

Onto some pre-dyno preperation...

Here are some issues that need to be addressed before coming for a dyno session.

•Make sure there are no oil leaks.
•Make sure your battery/alternator is strong and not failing.
•Make sure to bring extra spark plugs with you
•Make sure all the pipes are secured so that they don’t blow off during the dyno runs.
•Make sure to get oil change before you come in, and make sure it has enough oil. And no oil leaks.
•And the ones mentioned above.


This will by a dyno/tuning session...NOT a fix your car on the dyno session. We have a LOT of cars to get through so out of courtesy for others, please make sure your car is in sound working order.


We'll be kicking things off shortly after 10am tomorrow morning! We want to keep things moving so please arrive on time.
