How do you know it's not working? What's it tuned on? Are you getting correct oil pressure to the head?

This.

VTEC won't engage if you're not getting the correct amount of oil to the head. I'd pull the oil lines, make sure they're clean, and then also make sure they're installed right. If it doesn't have an oil kit for the head then well... you've probably got other problems.

100% agreed! thats why i asked who did the vtec setup, because it might be possible that the oil is not going to the head and if you didn't put the right head gasket on and all that stuff can all mess it up!

Lol, you have pictures of this line?

That line needs to be -3AN at the very least, Honda's need a lot of oil to the head, needs to be something like 55psi of oil pressure for VTEC to engage.

Get yourself a real well known oiling kit. I mean, afterall, it IS your engine. Golden Eagle makes a great kit and I think it's like $90 new.

ok wait your oil line was really small! thats not good! can i ask how is your oil line hooked up? do you have a sandwitch adaptor on your oil filter? or do you have it tapped into your oil pressure sensor? and i am +1 on the oil line pics, and sovxietday is correct on the oil pressure for vtec
