no. you will never get any. UNLESS...people fork over some cash.

I got a quote before for about 200 stickers (the more you buy the cheaper they are).

200.00 is ABOUT what i need

Now i am totally willing to fork over a good majority of that price as long as I know that ill make it back. Right now, the demand for these doesnt seem to enthusiastic. If you can get the members behind you and maybe get everyone(atleast 10 members) to throw in 10 dollars. I will throw up the difference

dont think i wont accept donations guys :)... i'm just trying to do it in an organized manner. i'm still working out the logistics but hopefully sometime soon i'll be able to put something together where you can buy stickers and license plate frames, or just donate if you'd like. i'm also hoping to figure out how to make the banners at the top for advertising which would help out a lot if there were a handful of vendors advertising on the site.

I'm also willing to put in $5-10 to get this sticker idea started. I'd also be willing to help with a design if you wanted. So 200 stickers for $200 isn't bad. Try and bring it up at one of the Red Robin cruises.

i lied. i was quoted 1.50 each for 200....so thats 300 dollars. Still my offer stands. get 10 or more people to put up some money and ill try and cover the rest.

PS. design ideas would be great. that price is for a basic white vinyl stickers that say "www.tristatetuners.com". If we could come up with a logo or something that says "TST" on it....im sure the price would significantly drop.

I like the first one, too...but maybe the "arrow" should go a bit more squirrely than just the back and forth. Maybe a few sections from "Complex String" in GT3. :wiggle:

well i think what we need is a logo... for the stickers, license plate frames, the banner at the top of the forum, etc. something totally universal. a logo really serves two purposes... to look good, and to communicate very clearly what it represents. ivan was working on some things last night that looked very promising, and it looks like kyle has some stuff going on too. i'd love a logo that says TST larger and has www.tristatetuners.com smaller at the bottom or something.
and to totally bite off of a local subaru forum in ny i was thinking maybe we could work on getting our own member numbers and have individual stickers made up... as in the first member would be the only one with TST-01 kinda big and underneath the whole thing it can say www.tristatetuners.com
if anyone else has some graphic design background or has any good ideas then please post them up.

Brian I really like the serialized idea. That's super hot. I also may have a good contact with someone that has a printing company, I gotta fire off some emails but I'll let you know.

Kef, it's BrYan - haven't you heard? You could get in trouble for misspelling his name

I also love the NY style serialized stickers. Do we need to get a collection going for this? I'm all about it!

I'm not quite sure if this guy has a shop or not but he does stickers, decals, signs, and vinyl transfers. I just shot him an email about doing some vinyl transfers for my company and I am waiting for a final proof. His other work seems to be good and the prices are excellent.

I found his information on TurboForums...

Oh, they are definitely not somewhere I do business with consistently. They aren't really nice/helpful guys, but sometimes they have stuff I can't get anywhere else.

i'd like to have two different designs... one that is just stylized text that says TriStateTuners.com and another that says TST larger with a graphical logo kinda thing going on and possibly a serialized member number, and the full name of the site small underneath.
ya know, the kinda thing where the logo is recognizeable enough that after someone sees the sticker around town a few times they'll walk up and be like 'what is this TST?' and they'll see the full name of the site.

i really like the styalized text sticker idea, maybe we should use the font located on the home page banner? we can make them 8-9 inches long, and 1.5-2 inches wide.
