Outside of just buying a drop in chip, the only place I know of that does actual tuning is Auto Speed in Voorhees near the Echelon Mall. I'm planning on taking my car over there soon to get it tuned.

Second that. Take it to someone who has experience with the car. Tough to beat AWE's experience.

Well, I would hardly say that Auto Speed has no experience, given some of the cars that they've done. I'm not posting this as a fan boy, because I have honestly not had any work done to either of my Audi's. I'm going with Auto Speed based on personal referal's. AWE is also a great company and has been in the game for years. However, do they even do custom tuning? When I called them, the only thing they offered me was a drop in GIAC chip. There is nothing wrong with GIAC, or chips for that matter, but I've always preferred custom tuning. If I were to just buy a chip, then I would probably take my car to AWE.

Nothin against Autospeed. I've seen their work and it's top notch.
But from what I hear is that they're extremely busy alot of the time....which is a good or bad thing depending on how you view it.

It all boils down to what you want to do with the car. I'm looking to do pretty much everything short of a K04 swap in the short term on my A6. For that, custom tuning and a more local (to me anyway) shop was the way to go to get the most out of my planned setup. I also know people who have had work done there and they came highly recommended. Busy is what it is and that just means that you can't simply drop by and expect to get work done, you need to call in advance and plan it out.
If you are just looking for an easy jump in power and not looking to add other mods than a chip is the way to go. If I was going to just chip my car, I would definitely be getting a GIAC chip from AWE.
