It's not impossible, you just have to network a lot and work hard at it. My girlfriend graduated from Kuttztown back in June and she has a job as do her friends that graduated with her.

I don't know, maybe it's your approach. Just as an example the first post in thirs thread you say you've just graduated (congrats) and are looking for some side work. That part is great but then you ask for 25 an hour which is a little aggresive for someone without work excperience. You also don't post up any examples of your own work to justify that kind of rate.

My point was there are other people here doing the same things and they have links to websites or threads that show their work. They are making it easy to sell themselves. It's the same reasoning behind stores having windows that display what they sell inside, it's supposed to draw the customer in. Once you pull them in then you turn around and discuss price.

Do yourself a favor... build your portfolio as a website. Trust me. I am so busy I turn work away all of the time.

First off congrats on the grad! I am sure you do way more than this but can you design a sick webpage. PM me with details on what you can accomplish and what it would run us, I am looking at funding/starting an online business based out of Germany with a US tuner here as backing. We just need a page!
