I don't want to get rid of it, but it has to go. I can't save the money to fix it, I need a DD.

Input shaft bearing or throw out bearing in the transmission is shot. The car runs great and shifts smooth but just grinds really loud on and off because one of the above bearings being shot.

Easton, PA. about 20 minutes away from allentown and no receipts, most of the work was done by the previous owner. I put the FMIC, 1g BOV and Gauges on/in the car. Plus the Eclipse conversion and wheels / Tires.

How much would you say to fix the bearings?

What do you get in gas mileage?
