I like it. I do not like the hood pins though, and those wheels (as pictured) I dont think will look so good on it. If you manage to get that size on there, the lip is WAYYY too big for this car, especially when they won't be staggered. I would look into a similar wheel that doesn't rely on such a big lip.

And I am just curious, does your hood not have a stock hood release catch? If you really feel that you need hood pins, then get some of the nice ones that sit flush against the hood and don't look so ricey.

I dont think hood pins with a purpose look "rice"... I dont feel as though they have a purpose-- they do have a purpose. Im hoping to get the flat ones that I can get painted the same color of my car off of ebay... but Im not quite sure. I dont really want to spend the extra money on something that I dont really care about when I could put that money towards something else. Im also thinking about getting my hood, front bumper and roof painted like the ralliart (I just cant make up my mind):

My only reason is that CF hoods that come with the hardware to be used with the stock hood release don't really need hood pins at all. The stock hood release hardware is strong enough to hold it in place without a problem. Now if you said that it doesn't come with the catch to lock in, or you removed the stock hardware, then I would agree that they are necessary. To each his (or her) own. If you like them, then keep them.

I dont have the CF hood, I have the fiberglass one-- I spoke to many people with the 4g who have the RSpec hood and they all said that they have, and need, the hoodpins. Otherwise, the hood will rattle at high speeds and one boy said that his was starting to raise. I dont think they look that bad, but like you said... to each their own (:

ok tom what i think the guy about the wheels was saying is with a lip that big will probably have a low offset, which will infact not only look stupid on FWD car but most likely wont fit on her car, im sure they make the same wheel with a higher offset and less of a lip to fit it.

and zerioustt has a 300zx with the same mods as me....and well we know how that goes

and to most people here...im seeing rides under profile as preludes, eagle visions. and what not....come on now stfu and buy a car worth driving

I can guaruntee you that wheel is in a rwd offset, and if purchased for this car would look different vypper isn't wrong about those wheels, and there is no way you'll stuff 9's under the front of that car. anyway about the hoodpins I have seen a lot of cheaper constructed cf and fiberglass hoods need them, oh well I'm sure ill be wrong and get screamed at by your bf.

Eh.. its not definite that Im ordering those exact wheels-- just something similar. It depends when and if I find the right deal. As far as getting black rims go... I would probably do hyperblack if anything, maybeeee flat black, but I doubt that, unless I do get my car painted like the ralliart in the summer. The KYOWA KR 551 and 628 are pretty sweet too
