Hey all! Im a nooB to this site! I live in South Jersey and am one of the very few girls in my area that have a strong interest in cars-- and modding. I drive a '07 Mitsu Eclipse GS... its amazing and super sexy! Current mods include RSpec fiberglass hood, 06 Celica spoiler, Vision style eyelids, Custom door graphic, Spoiler cover/delete, Injen Short Ram CAI, and soon to be installing my Magnaflow Axleback Exhaust that was shipped to my house just yesterday! Im also ordering lowering springs within the next two weeks and will be painting my brake calipers real soon! Are there any other 4g's on this site?! :mrgreen:

Aftermaket for the 4g sucks… there isnt much of a selection, but its slowly growing!

IMO it's a good car for the price. I only paid 17500 for mine and i bought it brand new with 18 miles on it. It is nice and comfy inside with leather seats, heated seats and a whole bunch of other goodies. A nice pioneer system with 10inch sub from factory and it's pretty quick. It may not have alot of power, but it's a light car so that helps. All I did was put on a CAI and I dynoed it and hit 224fwhp. I plan to do a full exhaust in april, and then get some 60# injectors a smaller pulley and a tune and see where I stand. I am hoping by the end of the summer I'll hit 13's.

yea I bought it when chevy was doing the 2000 dollar rebates for all models, cept corvettes of course. And I knew I wanted a black ss/sc. I searched on the internet and found one at the chevy brown-daub in wind gap pa, went there and was like thats the car i want. I walked in, took it for a test drive and sat down and crunched some numbers with the guy, but they wanted 18500. I knew I could get it lower and those guys were ****ing pricks. I was a young kid and they thought they could take advantage of me. So I went to the chevy brown-daub in nazareth and walked in and sat down with a salesman. I was like - today is the last day for the 2000 dollar rebates, you guys have a black ss/sc down at wind gap, I just came from there and those guys are pricks, you take 1000 dollars off of their price and I will buy it right now. Thats basically how I got it.

As far as my car goes: Magnaflow axleback exhaust was just installed yesterday (thank you Tom!), and Im soon getting Tanabe lowering springs (lowering 2") and Im looking into an HID conversion kit! After the springs and the HID's... Im hoping to get some nice, low profile, gunmetal or black rims. Then after that... Ill be broke!! :wink:

Lol, they think I'm fighting over you when I'm not. I have the 1st gen Talon in my avatar. Eclipse, same thing. I have a few cars so I still have the SRT-4. My SRT-4 is a cream puff and it sits in the garage. My Talon is my daily driver. I'm going to focus on modding the Talon moreso now, and unleash the rest for the SRT-4 next year.

You have a nice mod list going on though, now you just need to slam a turbo on that engine. At least you're doing your car tastefully, I know the rest of everybody runs around here with dumb stuff done to their cars. What have you been doing with yourself? How's everything?

As far as my mods, on the SRT-4 I have intake, exhaust, intercooler and a flash. Tommy should know that more than anyone now :mrgreen:
The Talon's already lowered 1.5 inches, and has adjustable struts, got a built motor in it and I'm putting on a frontmount and some more dangerous goodies in the next couple weeks.

Otherwise I've been good, doing my own work out of my own shop up in sicklerville. When it gets nice out you should come out to the meet at Walmart every friday that I try to get together. I haven't seen you since.. yeah Wawa, so it should be fun if you come out and check it out. If you need any help with anything, especially with the car, let me know.
