I am selling a 1992 Mitsubishi 3000gt VR4 TWIN TURBO. It is Rebuild 5 speed with Getrag Transfer Case. Installed in August 2005. It also has a Rebuilt Engine at 178,000 miles, OD is now at 200,000. Have over 10,000 dollar in receips for all of the upgraded work that is done to this car. We are asking $8000 obo but will negotiate!! Here is a list of parts that were installed: (HAVE TONS OF RECEIPTS)
New tires ( 2 months ago) Firestone
Stillen cross drilled rotors (front)
New brakes (recent)
Rebuilt Turbos 903.00
S-AFCII Super Airflow Converter
Upgraded Fuel system (550cc injectors, supra fuel pump, Mitsu fuel filter) 1129.00
New Transmission with new trans mount and bushing 2750.00
Rebuilt engine receipts 2931.71
Resurface engine block, bore and hone block, reconditioned cylinder heads 697.03
2" intercooler piping (installed on passanger side, have piping, clamps and couplers for drivers side)
DSM 1G uncrushed metal blow off valve not vented for atmosphere
New 3" Flowmaster 40 series muffler
New 3" Magnaflow converter with 3" installed off road down pipe
Lower ball joints
Upper intercooler O ring
CV boot kit for axles
New rear wiper motor and switch
Dyno tuning (248 HP, 296lbs torque to the wheels)
2 NEW O2 sensors installed by mitsu 826.75
New spark plugs 80.00
Sony CD player with 10" sub and amp
New ECU (engine control unit) with 5 yr warr.
Oil cooler line 104.00
This car is in great shape for a 1992. We have put a lot of money into this car but unfortunately it is time to sell it. We have just got married, bought a house, and are planning to have a family and this car is not family oriented. Overall the car looks great on the outside, the inside dash and rear seats are in great condition with no tears. The drivers seat has worn black leather that can be easily re-upholstered. Also the only negative thing with this whole car is that the SRS light is on. Mitsubishi diagnosed and said it was the SRS control unit but did not list a code stating this. I believe it is the clock spring in the steering wheel. cost approx 250.00. Keep in mind that this car is an import and the parts have to be purchased from Mitsu. Some parts can be aftermarket and bought at 3SX Performance. You shouldn't have to replace anything, we put a lot of money into this vehicle.
