Hey everyone!
After lurking for a little bit, I've finally decided to create an account here. I was told about this site from boostinsidewayz and SOG tinting. So thanks guys!

Anyway, I'm a fairly new Bethlehem transplant in the Willow Grove area (Hatboro specifically) and I drive a Black 06 Saturn Ion Quad-Coupe (non-Redline) So if you're from either areas, you might've blown past me at a stoplight or two. :)
I've had the car since mile #1 and it's a work in progress. For the moment, pictures of the car can be found at the link mentioned in my garage, and some will be posted here once they get resized. Sorry for the hassle.

Any info on local events is appreciated because I moved down here on a whim.

I've always been a Saturn owner. First 98 SL2, then 02 SC, now the Ion. First two stayed stock. I've only started working on the Ion this past April (equal parts mod and repair ) and most of the work is self-done. Although not having a garage or a beater car definitely limits what I can do.
Glad to see I'm not the only fan of the plastic panels here though. :)

Welcome.

So Hatboro? If you haven't found it already, I recommend the hoagies at Silvio's on 100 N. York Rd. in Hatboro; they bake their own rolls and have good tomato pie, too. A little more exotic potential, Altomontes Italian Market on 85N. York Rd. Warminster, excellent place. There's also a Primo Hoagies down the street, but it disappoints me since it's not as good as a couple other Primos I've been to in Philly, rolls just aren't fresh enough, so I rate Silvio and Altomontes much better.

Sorry for all the food talk, I just had lunch and not enough of it so I'm hungry.

You also get to look forward to the Hatboro Car Show this summer. They shut down York from County Line to Mill Road. Great time!

Sure I know Tom aka ibtrends. He does have a hot Supra. We've known each other for quite a while so if you see him, tell him I said hi. if you see kay = that spells a bad word ...though my kids seem to think it's part of everyday vocabulary, make that every minute vocabulary.

It's all good. I barely said anything, thats why. Actually, Steve was talking to you about the cost of the "impossible to tint car" (forget which model, sorry). Based on what everyone has to say about your work, I'll be seeing you soon enough, so I wasn't worried.

Thanks for the map guys, but I meant I saw his car when I was in the Allentown/Bethlehem area, not out here. :)

Thanks for noticing the side markers on the car! I didn't want a completely blacked out car, and I figured I'd run into legality issues, but so far it's gotten through inspection just fine. I'm still waiting on the tails though.

I'll definitely try to make it out to as many meets as I can. I'll probably also be at the Warminster autocross track when that starts up. More than likely just as a spectator, but some people have been pushing me to try it out.

Wait a god damn minute.

STC-PA?

Vinny hasn't been talking to me. Tell him I want my god damn vinyls already! Either that, or who's running the show now on the PA side? Kobb?

Were you at that meet a couple years back at the park?

"I'll give ya a hotdog!"

Yeah STC here, still waiting on my damn decals too! (I thought I recognized your name.) I've even got a guy near me who will touch up my front bumper (drunken golfer in golf cart > my bumper :( ) if I show him proof that I'm in a car club (not just on a forum). I don't think Adam has them, and I sent Vinny a pm on 6s but he never got back to me. I'll have to go after Kim and tell her to hold out until we get them...

You're right, Adam's heading up the PA group now. Doing a decent job of it too, from what I can tell. I've lurked on the sphere for awhile but finally have gotten a bit more talkative. Have you kept up with the meet on 4/26? It's a huge thread, mostly b/c there's 3 girls talking on it. It doesnt seem likely that I'll be able to go due to work, but I have yet to break the news on there.

I know nothing about the past meet or the hotdogs involved. :bigeek: Sounds like I missed out on something fun though. Big turnout?

I've been getting out near Langhorne more recently. I'll give you a heads up next time I'm out that way.

** Close to the Poconos? Not really, considering Hatboro is a suburb of Philly. But I have been known to take frequent trips up that way, so don't count me out. **

Turnout wasn't too bad. That was the last time that Rican Dave was a part of STC-PA. He's STC-FL now. He sold out on us. :(

The hotdog thing was some people in a hyundai tried to crash the meet and was saying that we suck when we wouldn't give them any of our cookout food. So I had started yelling, "I got a hotdog for ya! All you gotta do is supply the buns, baby!"

It was a fun time.
