Because you have never seen a mustangs body twist haha. Some cars are fine running with t-tops(300zx, trans am, camaro) But fox's are notorious for twisting the body without the proper setup.

If you ever need a hand i have some experience working on them...we have a 92 notch in the garage and a few older ones (1965,66) haha

A vage will tie the car together if you're worried about flex or a subframe. Work on getting the car to hook before adding power, it'll help with the car twisting up too.
It's nice swapping around to different powerplants. Espcially if you had a complicated engine before. Pushrods v8's you can pretty much fix with a hammer.

Cage it.

if he thinks he is gonna be somewhere in the 9's id have to assume a cage and suspension would be going in before all the other junk parts do....

Few of the easiest power adders- Intake, full exhaust ( look into MAC, and include the H pipe), F303 or E303 cam. haha

sweet find man... I love those mustangs. They are nice street cars. There is a place by me trying to get rid of these replica Cobra rims. I can see what he wants for them if you want. They are mint.

Haha you are kidding right? That won't do a whole lot. But it will eventually help. A cage would be good, for saftey reasons and to help the twisting of the car. 4.10s would be good if you plan on getting a lot of track time. Better get some axles from moser or somebody as well, with a rebuild kit. There's plenty more. Can get them for cheap used as well, some parts. Go to corral.net. Lots of classifieds. I'm planning on picking up Ford Motorsports shorty headers and a Mac offroad hpipe used for $150.

i guess they would be good power adders for this motor but, its comeing out next week i got something a little diffrent im doing, oh yes nd the cage will be needed lol
