At least it sounds like you respect the cars! The last guy that posted bragging about beating on cars he drives at work got all butt hurt when people told him how stupid he was.

It's cool you got to drive that! That's the reason I wanted to be a valet for a while

i saw one of those on the rt30 bypass on my way to work last week....so sexy. The most expensive car i drove was a dodge viper when i worked at dambrosio's in dtown. they are pretty nice, but nothing compared to the benz

I didn't know that you were valeting Scuba. Where at? I wanted a job like that when I was younger.

Buddy of mine is a Valet at the Style Mall in Vegas. You should see some of the stuff he sends me pictures of.

Yeah I bet he gets a lot nicer cars than I do. I get a lot of luxury and not too many exotics which makes sense since it the Ritz Carlton. Its def a sick job though.

LOL I like my new job better anyway, I get to actually drive cars, not just park them.

So how was it so amazing if you didnt push it. By no means should you have, but how can you really apretiate the car when you didnt give it a proper raping?

Maybe because he appreciates the style, and the nature of the beast? How about you lern2spell, then lern2drive, and then... lern2post.

You don't have to push a car to appreciate it. I drove my friends 997 turbo normally and I could tell that it was a great car just by the power band, torque, and handling the bends in the road.

Well to be honest, I drove the Carrera, Carrera 4, and Carrera Turbo, normally driving, I noticed little difference between them, the clutch felt similar, the steering, brakes, engine, etc. The difference was when you push the car, the Carrera is pretty rapid, the Turbo feels like a bullet, but just driving them "commuter style", there were hardly any differences, but when you drive them like they are meant to be driven, the Carrera, and Carrare Turbo are 2 completely different cars.

Thats why I dont get how people can really apretiate these cars without really giving them a proper push. <--That applies especially to the car in this thread, from all of the Mercedes Benz models that I have driven, between the higher line models and "entry level" models, the interior and such were very similar. If he just got to park this car, he didnt get to fully experience the engine, etc. He basically said that this Mercedes was awesome, I bet he would not have made this thread if it were a new C-Class, and to be honest, from a valet standpoint, doing his job properly as he says, there would have been little difference between them.

Yea, thats basically the reason why I did it, lol.

Edit: The CL600 goes for $129,000. The Porches are priced similarly. There is no way in hell, if I had a valet job that I would even think about going above 15 in any of those cars. People that have the kind of money to buy those cars, usually have the money to **** your life over in lawsuits too.

Have you ever driven a twelve cylinder car? You don't have to beat on it to appreciate the way it feels and sounds. I agree that I didn't get the full experience of the car, hell I didn't even know it was a TT till I looked it up. Good news is that I was thrilled to even drive it conservatively and I still have a job!

LOL I have a job as well, im happier with it than my previous valet jobs. After a while working valet, the stuff gets old, at first you think "oo what a nice car" but after a while you stop caring lol. Thats like me at work, if I dont drive the _______ today, i'll drive it tomorrow, or the next day.

Its not only about the cars. I make good money, great tips, get along with my co workers, the job is flexable, its real laid back, on top of that I get to drive nice cars, and I've been working there for months now without dreading going to work or getting sick of it.. I was never trying compare my job to yours but for some reason you feel the need to defend your new job and discredit mine. Maybe you were working as a valet for all the wrong reasons.

I just didnt apretiate that, thats all. Valet is a fun job no doubt, but at my job, I get to actually drive the cars for more than around the block, thats why I like it more, and I dont have to worry about anyone I work with pocketing tips, nor someone blaming me for damage to their cars that I didnt do (happened to my friend last week), or standing outside in the rain, its just more fun for me working where I am, not to mention closer to home, and I dont get done work at 3am like I did at valet. I mean come on, today I got to drive around in 2 Mini Coopers (one was an S), nice new expedition, 350z convertible, Crossfire, A mustang from Mark 3 customs, 325ci, and an s-type...im not complaining lol

The reason I made the comment about still having a job is because you were talking about how I didn't get to experience the car since I didn't lay into it. You don't have to defend your job just don't challenge mine.

All I'm saying is that I drove it and it was amazing.

It was amazing to drive, thats all I said. I didn't say anything performance wise I was just commenting that it was great feeling to drive a twin turbo v12 at all. Seriously, the exhaust note alone was pure sex.

Dont even get me started on exhaust notes lol. The carrera has a nice raw sound, and I like the Z, it sounds like an orchestra, also the audi tt with the 3.2L is sex, and how can I forget the mustang we have now, some kinda exhaust, right after 2500RPM it just sounds like a carrera GT I swear

The TT is nice, but they are very different and all somewhat disappointing.

The TT non quattro is just plain slow
The TT quattro it quick but the tranny feels weird
The TT 3.2 doesnt come with a manual
The hardtop is a 4 seater...why...

Ive always imagined it to be like driving an FF car in reverse LOL jk jk

I cant stand the color, nor do I like the ones that have a dark blue interior (purple almost), but the stitching is really cool.

edit: I got a call from my old boss from Valet, Ill be helping out Saturday with a member here, some fundraiser, should be fun...might feel kinda different after my current job though

i love that interior^^^^ i would totally rock that look in one of my cars.

anyways i did vallet one summer in ocean city... parked a lot of cool cars. besides all the brand new lex benzos and bmws, my fav was a badass hummer and a LOUD ls1 C5 (6 speed). guy said it ran 12s, and i wouldnt have doubted it. after that i vowed to own a vette someday hahaha

So today I drove a new m6 hardtop that I thought was gorgeous until I bumped into an R8 a little later. The r8 was valeted too.

Had Jay-Z's Maybach at work today. The car had its own driver obviously but they still had him park it in our garage. Jay-Z wasn't there but the car was there for him mom.
